This topic comes up a lot in network marketing when it comes to achieving ranks and goals. Most people that start out new are told to achieve their first rank in the first week or two at the most. The reality is that only a few people achieve that goal while most struggle to reach that goal. In this blog post I will be talking about the importance of timing and what you should do when faced with a achieving a goal in a period of time.
When anyone starts a new network marketing business or even a veteran restarting an existing business most are told that they should hit the first rank in 7 days or better. For example, you start with a company and your coach says to you “make your list, call them and get them to a presentation. Then get them on a call with your coach and they will bring them into the business”. Sounds simple right? Remember your coach has your best interest in heart, he/she wants to make sure you hit your goals that you had stated you wanted to hit. If you joined the business to make $500-$1,000 per month, your coach will push you in that direction in order for you to achieve that goal. If you told your coach that you wanted to Quit your JOB and you needed to make $5,000+ per month for you to do that, he/she will push you to get to that level in your business.
The other reason why your coach would push you to hit the first rank in the company because Success Builds Confidence and depending on the compensation plan, by hitting the first rank your product should be FREE. Your goal and your coach’s goal is to help you get out of the RED zone, go BLACK then GREEN. Meaning go from investing in the product or service, then getting that for FREE to making a Profit each and every month. Although this sounds generous from your coach it adds pressure to an average network marketer.
Just because you want to hit the first rank in the first hour, day or days doesn’t mean you are going to hit it. Why? It takes a Strong Mindset to achieve ranks in a small period of time. If you are building this business part-time you probably hate your job and hate the fact that your boss or boss’s are shoving a stick in your back to get work done in an unrealistic time frame. When your coach is pushing you to hit a rank in a small period of time he/she is reminding you of a person like your boss at your JOB. Now that’s not the reason most don’t achieve the ranks in their first week, it’s because most LACK BELIEF and don’t have a Good Feeling when they think about that goal.
Let me give you a good example, I was listening to a CD series about how the Rich stay Rich and the speaker was talking about a house he was looking to sell. The speaker had put his house out in the market and decided after a period of time to take it off the market. He wasn’t feeling right when it was on the market for sale and because of that feeling all he received were potential buyers with low offers. After pulling the house off the market his advisers were telling him, ” You must sell NOW, you have a window of opportunity!!! You must sell NOW!!! The market may change and you get a Good offer now!!”. The speaker said “NO”, I’m not feeling right about this and it’s not lining up with my sweet spot. ( Meaning, what he was thinking about didn’t make him FEEL GOOD, he actually Felt Bad ). After some time past the realtor in the area was taking a famous singer around to look at houses and came across the house that the speaker owned. It happen to be the house he took off the market and the famous singer fell in love with the house and said to the realtor to call the owner to make an offer. The realtor called the speaker of the CD series and told him about this famous singer and he said “Well, the house is not on the market so I would need an insane offer for me to consider”. The realtor came back the next day 2 times the amount of money he originally had it out in the market. After that phone call he felt Good about it and then Sold the house.
You see, when you start a network marketing company and you are pushed to hit a rank for what ever reason your
coach and you want to hit, ask yourself, “How Do I Feel?” “How Is My Belief Level?”. If you answer these questions with low emotion and you start thinking about FEAR, you are not ready to achieve that goal. You must FEEL GOOD when thinking about a goal that you set when building your network marketing company with hitting a rank. TIME can be your WORST ENEMY when you are told you MUST HIT THIS RANK IN 7 DAYS, 10 DAYS, 30 DAYS OR 90 DAYS etc etc. If you are Not Feeling Good about it or you are thinking about the Doubt you are going to get it, YOU ARE NOT READY FOR IT. When the speaker of the CD series was telling this story he stated that when he got the phone call, it lined perfectly with his sweet spot, he felt GOOD and he automatically believed he got the best offer. And all of his idiotic advisers were WRONG about selling at that TIME, he used his feeling and sold at the RIGHT TIME.
So don’t be pressured to build your business in a certain period of time if you don’t FEEL GOOD about it or if you are sensing Doubt you will achieve the goal. This could be your Worst Enemy and could chase you away from success in your network marketing company. Remember not to be wrapped up on TIME but say something like this ” I don’t know WHEN and I don’t HOW, but I’m going to build this business and achieve the goals I set in place.” Make sure you smile and FEEL GOOD about it and you will HIT your goals in your network marketing company.

This question comes up a lot and I decided to write a post on this subject. Have you ever felt that other network marketers are your direct competition? Have you ever felt that they want what you want, recruit customers and reps? Have you ever thought that you can work together with another network marketer in different companies? In this blog post I’m going to talk about how your “So called competition can help you?”.
Most Network Marketers see others as competition because everyone is out to get what you want. What is that? Recruit customers and reps into their business. Now when most marketers go out into the online world they encounter other people in other opportunities and it’s a constant battle about who’s opportunity is better than the other. Most business owners turn away from prospects that are already involved in Network Marketing because of this battle. But little do they know that is a BIG mistake.
You see if you prospect people that are not involved in Network Marketing you need to go through BIG numbers in order to find people that want to become an entrepreneur. This strategy can become very stressful and if you are not ready to accept rejection, you will QUIT faster than you think. Going after prospects that are already involved in Network Marketing are entrepreneurs and most of them want to build a strong business. The issue here is that most network marketers market to this crowd the wrong way. You can’t push your network marketing opportunity to them because they already have one. They don’t care about your business, they just want to build their business. So how do you get other marketers to look at your opportunity?
Good question? Are you ready for the answer? The answer to that question is “You Don’t”. If you want leaders in your business you need to attract them not chase them. Jim Rohn said it best “You don’t catch butterflies by chasing them, you catch them by becoming attractive”. You need to attract leaders into your business by delivering what they want which is “Value”. That’s giving your community what they are looking for and solving their problems. As I said earlier you need to provide “Value” to your community ( Target Market-Network Marketers ) and you will attract them into your life.

Because we all deliver value to our community of Network Marketers we are now working together and we are NOT in the same network marketing company. I’m sure between the three of us we would love to have each other in our network marketing company but we decided to help each other grow in our community.
With help from my two good friends I’m able to rank better on Google, lower my Alexa rating and get my value out into my community as well as their circle of influence. So even though my good friends are NOT in my network marketing company maybe someone may become attracted to my content then contact me. That’s the POWER of creating value to your community and asking to help other network marketers get their value out. Remember your list is important but your goal shouldn’t only be your list, but other people’s list.

As I speak to business owners and potential business owners I find that they feed the body but they don’t feed their MIND! Feeding the MIND can help you with battling the world all the way through the people you attract. In this blog post I will discuss the importance of feeding the MIND and why it’s an asset.
Most people feed their body with JUNK such as unhealthy fried foods, high sugar products, high starch products and more. Then there are people that feed their body with healthy foods such as vegetables, fruits, low sugar products, grilled foods, low fat products etc. Obviously the people that feed their body with healthy foods are going to live longer but also going to FEEL better. If the people that feed their body with healthy foods and include exercise don’t feed their mind, you could manifest bad things in your life. Having a healthy body and not feeding the mind is almost like driving a car with bicycle tires. The bicycle tires cannot support the weight of an automobile. The same thing goes for your MIND, you must feed your mind healthy products so that you can manifest Greatness in your life.
Let me give you an example before I recommend what to do to feed the mind. I was listening to a CD series that talks about manifesting anything you want in your life from the power of the mind. The person speaking on the CD went to a zoo and saw something incredible when he witnessed how an elephant was trained. He saw the HUGE elephant standing with a chain wrapped around it’s ankle and what was stunning was that it was attached to a very long nail into the ground. Now as the speaker was observing the magnificent beast and he thought that the animal can just pull on the chain and with it’s power it can yank the nail out of the ground. So the speaker went up to the zoo keeper and said, “couldn’t that elephant pull on that chain? Couldn’t that elephant just get fed up one day and just pull away?”
The zoo keeper then replied, “Yes and No”. You see the elephant has the power to do it but it can’t do it. When they are
babies they have an exact chain attached to their ankle but it bolted down into concrete. The baby elephant will then fight and fight and fight to break away from the concrete then one day the elephant gives up. Now the elephant is trained at that point, all you need to do is hit a nail into the ground and they won’t move. The slightest pressure that they feel from the chain they stop.
Interesting example that explains how POWERFUL YOUR MIND can be when you train it to do something. You see the elephant gave up because after trying so many times, it just gave up. Why keep trying, I’m never going to break away from this chain. We do the same thing, sometimes we say we can’t do something because we keep trying and trying and trying. And when you can’t take Failure anymore you give up and you train your mind that you can’t do it.
When you feed your mind with the words CAN’T, WISH, HOPE etc you are training your mind just like the baby elephant. Now I recommend to follow a mentor and find five friends that you want surround yourself with to inspire you and to FEEL GOOD. I also recommend that you listen to motivational and personal development CD’s in your car or when you are exercising. Now this is HUGE, LEADERS ARE ALL READERS, so read everyday even if it’s just a page everyday of a motivational or personal development book. You need to feed your mind with all of this that I recommend so that you don’t get LOCKED in the I CAN’T DO IT ANYMORE mentality. Henry Ford said it best , IF YOU THINK YOU CAN OR IF YOU THINK YOU CAN’T, EITHER WAY YOU ARE RIGHT. IT’S THE THINKING THAT MAKES IT SO.”
This is so true. Your MIND is a POWERFUL tool and if you are constantly feeding it with good food such as the people you surround yourself with, books that you are reading and CD’s that you are listening to, NOTHING WILL EVER BRING YOUR VIBRATION DOWN. Remember you become the top five friends you surround yourself with. If you hang around people that are down and don’t believe they can get anywhere in life, that is the same thing as the elephant thinking he can’t pull away from that chain. But if you surround yourself with the right people and use personal development everyday, it will raise your vibration. And when the elephant gave up, you will try to go that extra day then finally your hard work will pay off by breaking away from that chain.
There is a another great saying, “When you want to Quit, you are maybe seconds away from Success”.

Ever feel like your business is almost like a JOB? Ever feel that your business is taking over your life? Network Marketing wasn’t designed for you to feel that way, it was designed for leverage. In this blog post I’m going to discuss how you can make your business run, and NOT run You.
Most new business owners come into Network Marketing and are taught various ways to build their business Quickly because Success builds Confidence. But after awhile after using some of the strategies taught the time that is allocated to Marketing becomes time consuming and can drain a lot of time. Unfortunately Marketing is the key for any business to grow and there is no way around that. If you don’t Market your business you will FAIL.
Now Marketing can be done in numerous ways, Offline, Online, Meetings etc etc. You see, if you are reading this post you are in Network Marketing, which means Network ( people you know ) then Marketing ( advertising ). You are not in Network Network or Marketing Marketing, you are in Network Marketing. You should be Networking, which means talking to people that you know about your business on a daily basis. You should also be Marketing, which means advertising your business daily, whether it be social media, blogging, meetings, craigslist, solo ads, posters, events etc etc. This should be done on a daily basis but the problem with most business owners is LACK OF TIME and TIME MANAGEMENT.
You need to understand that although you must do both in order to have a successful business you need to MANAGE YOUR TIME and know what the difference is between BUSY WORK and PRODUCTIVE WORK. Most business owners can’t do both very well at least at the very beginning and some that have been doing this for quite some time.
BUSY WORK is defined as someone taking on a task for a lengthy time frame interrupting other more important tasks. For example, if you are setting up a capture page system and including a auto-responder and it is taking you more than 1 hour to complete, either move on or finish another day where you have that task scheduled. The problem that I see and I find myself doing as well is that I will start a task then stay on it ALL DAY which conflicts with my PRODUCTIVE TIME. Which leads me into the meaning of Productive Time.
PRODUCTIVE TIME can be defined as taking the most important task such as income generated activities to build your business. In other words doing tasks that generate income from your network marketing company such as introducing your product and services to customers and introducing your business opportunity to potential prospects. You can easily Market ALL DAY or take tasks that interrupt your PRODUCTIVE TIME but what good does it due for your business if you didn’t introduce your company to prospects? You must schedule your time so that your Marketing gets done but your Networking doesn’t get effected. This is a common disease in Network Marketing and can keep you struggling in your business. Now I suggest to outsource your BUSY work to someone that LOVES to do what you don’t like to do.
Be aware that any outsourcing you do, YOU MUST know how to do it FIRST. You must have mastered it whether it be Craigslist ads, PPC, email marketing, article marketing, blogging, list building, YouTube etc etc etc. The only way outsourcing works if you know how to do it yourself. There is no EASY BUTTON in this business but you will always find someone that is MASTER that you can pay for their services to LEVERAGE your time better. I suggest using Fiverr.com or Elance.com for your outsourcing. Remember this is not an EXPENSE but an INVESTMENT in your business.
Nothing replaces HARD WORK so you must make the time to get both areas in your business done. Once you have mastered this then you can outsource and Leverage your time to do more PRODUCTIVE WORK in your business.

This is a common question that comes up almost every day as I’m talking to potential business owners. Some feel that you need to be your best customer before promoting it into the marketplace. And some feel that you don’t need to be your best customer in order to promote the business. In this blog post I’m going to go over which statement holds TRUE when your are promoting your Network Marketing company.
When choosing a Network Marketing company you MUST base your decision on a few Key areas. Leadership, Demand for your Product, Compensation program and Long term Vision of the company. After you have narrowed these areas and choose a Network Marketing company, most business owners make a very big mistake. I hear this all the time “When The Product Comes I Will Test It and When I Know It Works, Then I Will Share It!”. Now I agree with this statement to a certain degree and I totally disagree with this at the same time. Let me give you some examples….
If you were looking for a BMW to purchase and you walk into a BMW dealership, would you find it weird if the salesperson that was trying to sell you a BMW was driving a Honda? Although there is nothing wrong with driving a Honda, how can a salesperson sell you on a BMW when he/she doesn’t own one them self? Think about this, how can you be passionate about a product you don’t even use? Here is another example, you walk into a cellular phone dealer and you are looking for a Android ( Samsung Galaxy S3 ) and the person that is selling you the phone has an IPhone. Would you listen to that salesperson trying to sell you the Android? Why isn’t the salesperson using a Android phone? Makes you think……………
Now, on the other hand if you own a shoe store selling women’s shoes, do you need to use them yourself? You see a Male business owner had a different vision when it comes to women’s shoes. Obviously he doesn’t have to wear the shoes himself in order to sell women’s shoes but he has vision about the shoe business. Now look at a women that owns a hardware store, does she have to use every Bolt & screws in order to sell it? Both business owners have Vision and that Vision is a growing business supplying demand. If you have a product that everyone needs and it’s been tested and proven, why do you need to have the product or use the product in order to sell? Your passion should be in the Vision of whatever goals you may have, that is seeing way past what’s in front of you.
In Network Marketing, products are tested and proven with testimonials from members that have used the product.
When you start with a Network Marketing company in most cases you DON”T need to have the product in hand or use the product FIRST in order to market your business. My mentor told me “If You Are Your ONLY Best Customer You Will Be BROKE”. Why? It goes back to the first statement, “I Will Not Sell Until I Use It First”. By the time you get the product, test it, then find out the product is Good, in most cases you have wasted 30-45 days. Any business owner that waits 30-45 days to build their business will absolutely FAIL. The longer you wait to market your business with a product that has been tested and proven, your motivation or drive will be gone.
Jim Rohn said it best, “You Can Buy and Sell and If You Are In Certain Circumstances You Can Sell and Buy”. If you then say “Well, When The Product Arrives I Will Sell It”, then you don’t get the power behind wealth and vision. Always see things what they could become NOT what they are now in front of you.

The other night I went out with my family for dinner and the table across from me were two gentlemen speaking about business. I was distracted with their conversation because I was so amazed about what was said by the so called presentation. In this blog post I’m going to explain what you should do when you have a one on one meeting with a prospect ( Belly to Belly ).
If you don’t know what is Belly to Belly, it means one on one meetings or group meetings to do a presentation about your company or just to have a meeting with your team face to face. If you are not doing this and you are hiding behind a computer you are missing out. Relationships are built ( offline ) or Belly to Belly, but sitting behind a computer is harder to build relationships. You see, people join companies but they stay for the PEOPLE, that’s why this strategy is very important. Now that you understand the importance of Belly to Belly, I’m going to go over what you should NOT do and what you should be doing.
As I said before I was having dinner with my family and I couldn’t help to look at the other table to hear what they were talking about. The one gentlemen was saying how he loves the vitamin and maybe someday it would make him stronger and live longer ( what a testimonial ). He continued to talk about the compensation plan on how he is on the top and his prospect will get in beneath him to build HIS network. Yes, it gets better, he then got up from the table sat on the floor and explained how a network is built from Top to Bottom. And lastly he mentioned his upline, how successful they are and the team is part of. The prospect was just yessing him to death because of the ACT that the network marketer was doing. Now I was sitting with my family laughing at this guy as he made a fool of himself.
Remember your prospect is watching you and if you make this business difficult your prospect will think that it’s to difficult to build. Now if you show them that this business is simple to follow and you don’t have to put up a dog and cat show they will see that.
Before you see a prospect for a meeting, make sure you have used the tools that your network marketing company has provided for you such as a DVD, online video, brochures etc etc. By doing this prior to meeting with them, this will eliminate you having to explain the compensation plan, product and company. Make sure you speak to your upline support and/or leaders in the team to see who is available for a 3-way call. This edifies someone of credibility and shows your prospect they don’t need to know everything. Set a place that is quiet like a hotel lobby or maybe a book store like Barnes & Noble, but do not go to a place where it is noisy as your prospect will easily get distracted. Ask you upline and/or leaders what you should bring to the meeting such as brochures, compensation plan literature etc etc. Hint: if you know what your prospects are interested in then you will know what to bring with you. Don’t show up with jeans, sneakers and a T-shirt, as it shows that you have no respect for your business and it shows how NOT serious you are about your business. DON’T SAY “I” in any of your conversation
with your prospect because you are already in the business, it’s your job to get your Prospect INTO the business. Focus on your prospects Desires and Goals NOT why you got in nor your Goals and Desires. You MUST dress in dress pants, shoes and a polo shirt or button down shirt, the professional business people do this because it shows you are serious and your prospects will have more respect for you. And Last DON’T BE LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is huge!!!! If
you set an appointment with your prospect at 8 p.m., don’t arrive there at 8:05, be there at 7:50 p.m. This also shows your prospect you are serious about your business and also you respect their time as well as yours.
Remember to learn how to expose the TOOLS AND NOT BE THE TOOLS for your network marketing business. You are not there to answer 1,000 questions about the company, compensation plan or the product, but you must make sure they have seen a tool prior to meeting with you. You are not there to explain WHY they should be looking at your business, you are not there to explain how your compensation plan works as new people enter the business and you are not there to give YOUR testimonial about your product. At this point if they have questions it would be specific and you could call your business partner ( EDIFY THEM FIRST ) then let them handle the call. Last, be prepared to enroll business partners into your network marketing business.

Statistics show that every minute someone is searching for a make money from home opportunity and every hour someone is joining a home based business. Now these prospects are either joining with someone directly or just signing up themselves. But today I’m going to be talking about the prospects that sign up with a REAL PERSON and/or what you or your prospects should be doing before joining any business.
I hear everyday from someone that they joined a Network Marketing or Direct Sales business and their sponsor is no where to be found. I also see those same people searching for someone to help them answer questions about the team they are in, compensation program, team calls, ( some don’t know what team they are in ) etc etc. So why does this happen to people? There are some people that look at an opportunity that they were introduced to somehow and decided to join. Now at the time of sign up they most likely had a person guide them through the process or had their sponsor sign them up. At this point there are some people that are unethical and walk away with their BONUS and leave their new business partner all by themselves. You see Network Marketing has a BAD name NOT because the business model doesn’t work, it’s Network Marketers!! Obviously there are people making an enormous income monthly from Network Marketing, so it definitely WORKS.
Here are some tips you should do before signing up with any Network Marketing company
- Make sure you research the company you are interested in. Make sure you watch video’s about the companies background, the products and services, the compensation plan and the people behind the company. Warning- Do not research a company for more than a week, do not over think the process. Just research the company so that you are not suckered into a bad deal.
- After you make a decision of the company you want to join, make sure you start reaching out to various members. You want to interview the members teams and their Leaders. This is so important because no one wants to join the WRONG TEAM nor do you want to join a team that is NOT growing.
- Ask the following questions to the members you are interviewing: Do you offer weekly team calls? How many Leaders do I have access to for 3-way call support? In this blog post I talk about how to properly do a 3-way call. Does any leader in the team offer one on one or group mentorship? Does the team have their own
marketing training or do they rely on company tools? etc. - After interviewing your potential sponsor and team leaders go ahead and look for them on Facebook. Make sure they have a presence online also if they say they have a group on Facebook just for their team, go ahead and take a look. You may not be able to see much due to the group maybe in private but you can verify if the information given to you is accurate.
- After you select which team you are going to join and sign up make sure you collect at least 3-4 phone numbers of your sponsors upline leadership. Next work with 1 or 2 of the leaders discussing your goals and work with them either one on one or as a group. In this blog post I talk about how to be a good student to your mentor.
There is a saying ” People Join Companies But They Stay For The People”. If you are looking for a network marketing or direct sales company and want to build a strong residual income you cannot just join with any team. You must do your research and make sure you will get the support you need to reach your goals faster. Some business owners wonder why they have their team drop off and in most cases it’s because it’s lack of support.

Most people in Network Marketing use this strategy when speaking with prospects and some don’t take advantage of the power of a 3-way call. A lot of times people are confused when should they use a second source for a 3-way call. Do you use all the time? Some of the time? In this blog post I will expose to you when is the best time to use a second source for 3-way support.
The first thing you should do before reading this article is know how to manage your time. In my recent blog post I talk about how to manage your time better in your business and how it can help you make more time for the important things in your business, like Prospecting. Without this you will not make enough time for prospecting and there will be No Time to look for 3-way support.
When you join a Direct Sales and/or Network Marketing company, the first thing you should do is get all the contact information from at least 3-4 people that are your upline Leaders as well as your sponsor. So many people join a company then start promoting without having the phone numbers of their business partners. Then when they get a potential prospect, they ask questions, this is where most people BLOW IT. They try to answer questions based on what they know and the prospect is on the other line saying “I HAVE TO DO THIS?”. Understand that whomever you are talking to they are WATCHING YOU on how you are handling the questions and objections. Some prospects are very good at testing you to see what you will say.
When should you use 3-way help? You should use 3-way help when you are New and when you are a Leader, it doesn’t matter. As I said before your prospect is watching you and if you make it seem technical, difficult or just weird they think they have to do the same thing. If you are New in this industry it’s a MUST that you use 3-way support to help you bring in business partners into your team. Make sure you are following the system that your Leaders are telling you to do as well as the use of company tools such as Videos, Brochures, DVD’s etc etc. Once you have used the tools to expose your company to your prospect, then you can use 3-way support to help you with your call.
Now before you get on the phone with your sponsor or leader for a 3-way call, make sure they know ahead of time before you call them on the phone. After your prospect has been exposed to a tool provided by your company and you have a follow up call or meeting, send a text message to your sponsor or leader to let them know you need them. Understand that their time is valuable and they may not always be available when you call them. The next important thing you need to do is edify them, this is so important when using 3-way support. If you don’t edify your sponsor or leader, your prospect will feel they are talking to some random person that wants to sell them on the business model. You must know something about your sponsor or leader such as their journey with the company, past successful history and/or where they are at with the company today.
Let me give you an example, you have exposed a tool to your prospect and you have a follow up call at 8pm. You text or call your sponsor or leader and ask them if they are available. If they are available make sure you tell them something about the prospect, the best thing to do is to try to match up your prospect with your 3-way support based on past career or personality. If your prospect works in corporate america, you should try to find someone in your leadership team who has or is working in corporate america so that they have something in common. Now you call your prospect and ask “what did you LIKE best about what you saw?”, this forces them to look for something that they like. Now after they tell you what they like, they almost always will tell you what they don’t like or will ask you a question. Your prospect will ask “how does the monthly commission pay work?”. Now most will answer that question THEN BLOW IT. Whether you are Leader or New you MUST say this, “Mike, that’s a good question. Let me get my business partner on the phone because he/she is an expert on the compensation plan.” Very simple, I get prospected daily by Leaders and when they know I’m serious they get their upline on a 3-way call with me.
Now when you get your business partner on the phone YOU MUST EDIFY THEM. After you know your leaders
background you can say this, ( this is what I say when I use my Mentor for 3-way support for my business ), “Mike, I have my business partner on the other line. She is a founding partner of this company, she has one of the largest organizations in the company and she trains her team how to build their business, Mike I want to introduce you to Lisa Rimas, Lisa this is Mike.” THIS IS HUGE. When you give a story of your leader to your prospect they will in most cases give very few objections. Also, you MUST introduce your prospect to your upline NEVER your upline to your Prospect. Why? When you introduce your prospect to your upline, there is a level of respect that they are talking with someone that is of Value to them. If you introduce your upline to your prospect, now you are raising the Prospect to your upline and their story meant NOTHING ( Never give away the control to your prospect ).

Have you ever wanted to get some work done for your network marketing business but can’t seem to get it all done? Have you ever felt there isn’t enough time in a day to get everything accomplished? In this blog post I will discuss how you can manage your time better so that you can get everything you want done especially if you are Part-Time.
Although I’m going to be talking to the Part-Time network marketers this also applies to Full-Time networkers as well. Most of the business owners are Part-Time and I’m going to focus this blog post around those individuals. Most feel overwhelmed due to their busy life from work, family and other obligations. Because there is lack of time most miss the most important things to grow their business like prospecting, webinars that are useful to build their business, team calls etc etc. The reality is that these are all excuses NOT to build your business because most feel they need 4-6 hours to get work done. This is a BIG MYTH that you need 4-6 hours to build your business online/offline.
The first thing you should do is to make a schedule for everything you do to build your business. Get a calender either in a booklet form that you can write all of your appointments or use Google Gmail which you can virtually type all of your appointments. Either one works but you MUST start there, put all of your team calls, trainings and events. This is the most important thing to do first in your scheduling because without team calls, trainings and events there is no way you can cut out time for this and stay motivated to continue. The next thing you need to do is to write in your calender days and hours you need to block out for prospecting. You should protect this time as this is the key component of building your business to the income you desire.
The next thing you need to do is write in your calender days and hours you need to spend marketing. This is so
important that you make time to market so that you can attract customers and leads to your business. Without this you will have no one to call back that viewed your website. The last thing you need to do is block out time to look at your email. THIS IS HUGE because everyone now has email capabilities through their phone most people are checking their email every time it alerts. Although checking your email throughout the day may save you time but it distracts you from completing tasks that you have scheduled. Some emails are important to look at during the day due to team or company calls may change but that should be your only exception.
The only way to manage your time better if you schedule all of your duties and not get distracted. If you are marketing, don’t answer phone calls, don’t look at emails etc etc. If you are prospecting, don’t look at your Facebook page, don’t look at your emails, don’t be on a company call at the same time, etc etc. Protect the time you are blocking out for what ever task you have scheduled and you will get a lot more done. If you are out and about and you are collecting names, emails and phone numbers, don’t send them more information at that time. You are running a million dollar business and your time is valuable so send your prospect information at the scheduled time you have blocked out on your calender. Once you get accustomed to this routine you will find time you thought you never had to complete all tasks and you should see your business go to another level.

I get a lot of questions from Network Marketers asking how can they convert more leads into prospects through a website. There are many trainings out in the internet on how to convert leads but how do you know what works? In this blog post I’m going to break it down to you how you can convert more leads into prospects.
First, you need to know the difference between a Lead and a Prospect. A Lead is someone that is looking for a product, service, home based business etc etc, typically this is someone that is looking for a specific thing. A prospect is someone that has looked at what you have to offer then asks for more information. Now these type of people you want to speak to because they have the potential of purchasing your product and/or service. The issue that most business owners face is after the lead becomes a prospect they can’t either be reached or they are gone.
Although I’m talking mostly about online marketing, this also applies to offline marketing as well. In the online world most business owners have a Capture page system which has text, video, designs, opt-in form etc, and they send traffic to that page. When a lead looks at that Capture page and they are interested in more information they enter their information and become a prospect. Sounds simple right? The problem is after they enter their information, where do they go? Do they go to a video, another website, instruction page to check their email, to an article, etc etc etc. This is vital part of the process if done right you can convert a lead into a prospect then into a customer. If this process is done incorrectly you can easily lose a lead into outer space and have a whole bunch of leads but no prospects.
You must develop a funnel system which consists of a Capture Page, Sales Letter or video presentation then a Call To Action and an auto-responder. The process starts with an ad that is put online somewhere like Facebook, Twitter, Backpage, Craigslist etc etc then a Lead looks at you ad then clicks the link to your Capture Page. If your Capture Page is done correctly most likely your Lead will enter their information into the form to get more information. Your Capture Page should not have a lot of Hype or Pitchy, just text maybe a video and an opt-in form. At this point after your lead enters their information into your form they need to be directed to whatever you told them you were going to offer them. For example if your text promises them a presentation, you need to direct them to a presentation. If your text or video told them they were going to get a Free E-Book, then you need to direct them to the E-Book. A lot of times people get lost in websites because it’s too difficult to navigate ( with too many directions ) or they don’t get what you told them they will get.
After you have set up your redirect page from your Capture Page then you need a Call To Action. I see so many websites that are great looking, a lot of information, great presentations but No Call To Action. You must direct people what to do next, why? People need to be told what to do or they just get lost. After you have created a Sales Letter, Video or E-Book you must have a link somewhere visible stating what to do such as Click Here to get started, Click Here to Buy Now, Click Here to download your Free copy etc etc.
The next step is to create your drip campaign or auto-responder campaign. This is a series of emails that remind the prospect of what they asked for. Most people don’t make a decision until after they have seen the information at least 7 times. Now don’t drip them with anything else but what they asked for, don’t drip them with either another opportunity or another product. Give them Valuable information of what you promised to give them on your capture page. This is an easy way to Lose a prospect by giving them content that they didn’t ask for. Ask yourself this question, how much is a prospect worth to me and my business? I’m sure you will think twice before spamming them.
Now if you are new and don’t have a funnel system, it’s not the end of the world. Just remember that your lead needs
direction and with a funnel system your lead goes through steps so that they don’t get lost in your website. By giving your company website out you are going to lose your prospect because most people will click on all the links on your company site then go to Google to find out more. Don’t do community service, keep your leads. To get a funnel system I use IMToolSuite, this system lets you choose an array of Capture Pages and gives customizable Sales pages to create funnels plus 14 other tools.
Always remember to make sure your Capture Page has a phone number option so that you can call your prospects and lead them to the right information and so that they know you are a REAL PERSON. Most business owners create these funnels so that they don’t have to speak to their prospects but most of them are struggling. Don’t be one of those, call your leads and help them through your process and you will see more conversions in your business.
